this is targeted at all those people that i met in germany who i miss greatly and must come visit me in canada....this is just a glimpse at what you can be part of.......

this isn't really party music. but i think they are some pretty sound songs.

I love this song by jonna newsom so much...it's actually 16 minutes long but i extracted my favourite part and compiled a collection of videos i have made since I've been in Europe. It's pretty random but I like the way it fits with the music.

so...i decided since i'm only in germany for another 2 weeks that I should only listen to German Music for the remainder of my stay here. So my friend Janek sent me a bunch of deutsch gansta rap. haha it's pretty awesome. and xavier naidoo is on mtv and a big hit here....
ok i know pink floyd is NOT german. but i had to make an exception and allow myself to listen to this song because it's so freaking good and when i came across it that clock at the beginning brought me back to being 10 years old and being awoken in alarm at the sound of that full blast....one of my dad's clever tactics haha.
so wake up and listen and emerse yourself in deutsch yo.

While at Amanda's over the weekend we listened to a Radiostation that played a lot of old hits from the 90's and it inspired me to make a playlist of my own with some really great tunes from the 90's.....it brings waves of nostalgia but i'm enjoying riding the waves(haha so cheesy)...so i hope other people feel the same way and are not reminded of that jerk in high school(or elementary school depending on how old you are)that ate all your twinkies.

This was in Dresden...there was a massive amount of birds flying around in the sky. it was really creepy......this is only a small portion of the larger amount. I think i should find someway to cut out the british voices in the background and add some intense classical music

we were sitting in our hostel and we could hear this great blues music through the window but couldn't figure out where it was coming from since all that was out the window was an alley.....so casey and I went outside to check it out and this guy was playing. he was amazing! we just stood there listening to him for a while and he started telling us weird stories about how he was supposed to play on stage somewhere for the pope and some indians....???? i have no idea...but he played damn good music

dont see it. you wont understand anything....like me! unless you are amanda or simon or marek. otherwise............watch the english version instead!

i don't know who could actually be there to sit through this whole thing? doesn't it last like 5 hours. oh my goodness..........i mean some parts are really cool and great. but the whole thing?!!!? how many flags do we have to watch be raised. my oh my.


ok nevermind. it gets the full five stars!! holy crap they are using people to make this animated ski jumper!!! it's crazy!!! wow! oh man i wish i coudl get a video recording to put on here. they are wearing different colors to make the skis, his suit, his head,his hair.... and it looks so much like a skiier! it's crazy.
WOAH! now the lights went out and they all help up candles so the skiier was just all lights. wow this is just amazing. ok everyone should watch the opening ceremonies. just not the first hour.

Description:
i made a marinade for my steak tonight. and this was the first time i made a steak in my grill.....it was really tasty but i should've left it marinading for a longer time because the steak was kind of chewy. so this is what my marinade consisted of...

Ingredients:
a sauce a bought from IGA called roasted garlic and peppercorn
red wine
garlic
onion

Directions:
so i just mixed them all together let it sit in the fridge for about an hour or two and cooked it in my grill that erin got me for my birthday.

I love this book.
I'm reading it for the second time around because the movie is just out. It hasn't come to Lethbridge yet and I'm half way through the book so I hope I can finish it in time. I also hope the movie is not a disappointment. I read an article about it and it sounds pretty great.
The book is just very well written and goes through the entire life of this girl who was sold into becoming a Geisha because her parents were dying. She thought she was getting adopted by this nice man but got put on a train to this big city and sent to this place where they train Geisha. She is supposed to be very beautiful and strange looking because she is Japanese with blue/grey eyes. I hope they make sure to remember that in the movie! I will be very disappointed if her eyes are brown!
